Mr. Smiles- a- lot

I have been smiling a whole lot here lately. When people talk to me, I am listening. I am watching people as they move around me. I enjoy laying down and looking outside. I am 7 weeks old here. I am going to the doctor next week for my shots... please keep me in your prayers!

Happy Mother's Day

Mommy's present for Mother's Day is a massage. It will help her relax from the stress of being a high school teacher! Summer is around the corner Mom! You can make it!

Baby Dedication

I was dedicated at First Baptist Church this past Sunday... on Mother's Day. My parents promised to teach me about Jesus when I grow up. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins came to witness my dedication. The bottom picture is with our pastor Dr. Packer.

Lots of Pictures

My mom asked me what letter my last name started with and I showed her the letter "C".

Man...when will my mom ever quit taking pictures of me? We went to take professional pictures this week and I did not cooperate. I was a little fussy...well not just a little. Mom decided to take some more pictures when we got home. I am six weeks old here.

Doctor Visit- 5 weeks old

When I went to the doctor, I weighed 11.5 pounds. I am growing more and more each day. Mom thinks I set a record for the baby whose umbilical cord stayed on the longest... 5 weeks! The cord was on its way to falling off when we arrived. The doctor put some medicine on it to help it fall off.... and it worked!

A trip to McKinney

I went to McKInney to see Aunt Whitney, Uncle Rusty and Paxton with my mom, Grandma Cox and Great Grandma Kal. We had a great time. I found out that I am going to have a new little cousin in January... congrats to Rusty and Whitney!

Bath Time

I like bath time. I don't cry at all...I just move my arms and legs around while Mommy washes me. I am still getting sponge baths because my cord has not come off yet. Mommy and Daddy are ready for it to fall off so I can take a real bath.

My New Friends

These are my new friends. In the first picture is my friend Avery who is 3 weeks older than me. I met her on Easter Sunday at my grandparent's church. She and her parents live in Oklahoma, so we may not get to hang out as much as I would like. All of the other babies here go to my church. The second and third picture are triplets-Alyssa, Alexis, and Austin. They are 8 months old. My friend Jordan is in the fourth picture and Ethan is in the last picture. Jordan is 1 day older than me and Ethan will be a year old in May. All of my church friends and our moms had a play day this week.

Future Aggie

Future Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2028! Whoop!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny didn't bring me much this year, but I did get a really cool Easter basket to be filled with goodies next year when I can really enjoy it. We did have an Easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Cooley's house where I found an egg with $5 in it just for me. I had fun visiting with all of my family and my really cool cousins.

Easter Sunday

We went to church with Grandma and Big Daddy on Sunday morning. I got all dressed up in my new Easter outfit that I won't ever wear again because in about a week it won't fit anymore. Afterwards, Grandma cooked us all lunch. We all hung out during the afternoon and then I got to see Amy and Laura. I also gave Grandma a taste of what it's like to get peed on.

A Little Accident

Drew and I were hanging out the other day just laying down and talking, when all of a sudden my stomach got really warm. He somehow totally bypassed the diaper and peed all over me. Luckily my shirt was there to soak it up.

My Best Friends

These are my two best friends, my swing and my vibrating bouncy chair. They are great! Whenever I get fussy or Mom and Dad just need to set me down to do something, these keep me occupied and happy.

Bottle Feeding

Our little Drew is growing up fast. He is already holding his bottle on his own and feeding himself, and he's only 3 1/2 weeks old. Ok he's really not, but it looks like it though.

Grandparents Visit

I got to see both sets of grandparents this weekend. Grandma and Grandpa Cooley came over to see me Friday night, and Big Daddy and Grandma Cox came over to see me Saturday night. They just can't stay away from me for too long. Nobody can resist my charm.

Heaven Sent

Our sweet little angel. A perfect gift from God. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful little boy.

My Family

One big happy family.

Random Pictures

There's not really much going on in Drew's life right now, but I just wanted to post some pictures anyway. I mean really, how much could be going on in the life of a week old baby. All he does is sleep, poop, pee, and occasionally open his eyes. I thought that these were cute pictures and wanted to share them.

Daddy's Little Boy

Do you think Drew looks like his daddy? These pictures show a little bit of a comparison of when I was a baby and of Drew. I think they are pretty close, but you can sure tell just by looking at Drew. The top left picture is one of me (Daddy) and the other two are Drew. You compare.

He's Finally Here!!!

The time finally came. Drew was born on Wednesday March 22 at 6:06 pm. We couldn't be more excited! It was a long day, but in the end it sure was worth it. Our beautiful baby boy was 8 pounds 10 ounces and 21 inches long, so he was a pretty good size. We're very proud of him.

38 Weeks

Well we just thought the 37 week sonogram was our last, but no we have another again. Sonograms are free right? I mean we don't have to pay for it every time we have one do we? OK of course I know we have to pay for them. I hope the doctor and the hospital don't mind us being on the 10 year financing plan. In one of our pictures, the doctor showed us some of his hair. She said that it was long and that he had alot of it. I sure hope she is right. He must get that from his mom since I didn't even have hair until I was 3 years old and then starting losing it when I was 16. So I've only had a good amount of hair for about 13 years of my life. But enough about me. This site is not about me, but about my son. He's going to be a big boy. The doctor said that her estimate is around 8 1/2 pounds and he is still 2 weeks from his due date. She said that there is a 10-15% error that could be around 1 pound off from her estimate. When I asked her if it is usually less weight or more weight when it comes to that error, she said usually he would be more when they are big kids. Great! We might have a 9 1/2 pound kid. Maybe she'll be wrong. Oh well, as long as he is healthy. In this picture, you can see his fat rolls where the arrow is pointing. He's going to be a big one!

The HULK

Here is another picture of the 37 week sonogram. Drew is showing off his muscles in this picture. You can see his forearm and a clinched fist on the left.

37 Weeks

We had our "last" sonogram at our 37 week checkup, or at least we thought it was our last. Drew is getting to be a big boy. The doctor estimated that he was 7 1/2 pounds during this time. Man our kid is going to be such a chunk. Here is a picture where you can kind of see his face. Shadows cover half of it, but on the other half you can see his eye socket and a frown. I'm sure he's frowing because he is tired of being in there, but then at the same time he seems to be pretty content and not showing signs of coming without some help.

33 Week Sonogram

These were taken at Drew's 33 week checkup. They're not very clear. I don't know how the doctor can tell what the different pictures are. Even with descriptions, I still can't see some of them. The descriptions are below the pictures. Take a look at the arrows on the sonograms and they will point out more. Here you can tell that Drew has some hair. I can't tell if it's alot of hair or just a little bit, but I'm excited that he even has hair and hopefully won't take after his daddy.

here is a picture of Drew's hand as it he is kind of making a circle with his fingers. I believe that is his face by his hand.
This one is a picture of his lips, so the doctor says. I just don't see it. I'm glad she knows what she is talking about.
Here is a picture of his foot upside down. This one actually isn't too hard to tell what it is.

26 Weeks

OK I've had these pictures for almost 2 months now and haven't done anything with them. Finally I got the pictures scanned and now I am putting them up on the site. I'm trying to remember what these are pictures of, so I hope I get it right. They're so hard to tell. The descriptions are below each picture. This is a picture of the ends of Drew's feet.
This is a picture of his butt and oh yes, his penis
Another picture as if you are looking at his butt.
I believe this is a side view and he might be looking at us. You can kind of see his spine in the lower right hand corner.

24 Weeks

Here is a picture of Mommy at 24 weeks. Drew is growing every day. I got to feel him kick for the first time the other day. He's been very active lately, so I hope that doesn't mean he will be a hyper-active kid.
